VANCOUVER - The man who raped and killed Port Coquitlam teen Breann Voth on her way to work almost three years ago has been found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years.

Breann Voth, 19, was abducted, assaulted and murdered, her body left on the banks of the Coquitlam River. On Friday, after a six- month investigation, RCMP arrested 22-year-old Derek Frederick Post of Pitt Meadows. 

Murder victim's screams ignored

BC police probe Voth murder message

Police in Port Coquitlam, B.C. aren't sure if a graffiti message is a valuable clue in the murder of 19-year-old Breann Voth or if it's just a cruel joke.  A spray-painted message claiming responsibility for the mildly-autistic woman's death turned up on a footbridge in the Vancouver suburb, near where Voth's body was found.  "I killed Breanne. Police make arrest in murder of BC teen

Police charged a 22-year-old man with first-degree murder in the killing of a Port Coquitlam teenager last December.   Derek Frederick Post was arrested Friday outside of his home in nearby Pitt Meadows.
