WILLIAM MICHAEL NASH

On Monday December 17, 2007 at approximately 10:00pm a 52-year-old Langley man was reported to have been struck by a vehicle in the 20500 block of 56 Avenue in the City of Langley.   Once police were on scene it was learned that there may have been an altercation between the victim that was struck by the vehicle and some other individuals.  Investigators have identified the victim in Monday’s homicide as 52-year-old William Michael Nash of Langley.   Sean Eric Carter, an 18-year-old Langley man was remanded on charges of manslaughter.   File #IHIT 2007-38556      Dec. 17, 2007  (LM #63)     Teen charged in road fatality case   Teen charged with manslaughter

   

JAMES PO HO CHEUNG

SHANNON RAYLENE DESCHAMPS

On Tuesday December 11, 2007 at approximately midnight British Columbia Ambulance Service advised Surrey RCMP of a call for service for a female without a pulse. JONATHAN WILLIAM MCMILLAN

On Monday December 3, 2007 at approximately 9:30 PM Coquitlam RCMP were called to a townhouse complex located in the 2600 block of Cape Horn Avenue after receiving a call for service regarding a male in his early twenties with serious injuries as a result of a gunshot wound. The male was taken to local area trauma hospital to be treated for his injuries.  Once on scene, members proceeded to investigate and conduct an area search. During the area search being conducted by the Lower Mainland Integrated Police Dog Service a deceased male was located behind a townhouse. MICHAEL GERALD LARSON

At approximately 10:48 AM Surrey RCMP were informed that there was the body of a deceased male lying within a rural residence located at 15600 48 Avenue, Surrey. One deceased male was located inside the home. Also located in the home was a marihuana grow operation.  Investigators are have not yet been able to establish if this has links to gangs or organized crime. Although police found a grow-op on the property the homicide has not yet definitively been linked to the drug trade.   The male has been identified as 37-year-old Michael Gerald Larson of Surrey. SCOTT DANIEL LEE

At approximately 2:30 pm police were summoned to an address in the 400 block of Echo Avenue in Harrison Hot Spring. KAREN LOUISE & RICHARD BECK

On Thursday at approximately 4:30 PM Maple Ridge Fire Department was called to a fully involved house fire in the 12400 block of 263 street in Maple Ridge. While suppressing the fire, firefighters located two bodies, that of a male and a female. EDWARD ROY BAILEY

At approximately 4:30 PM British Columbia Ambulance Service was called to the corner of 3rd Street and Queens Avenue in New Westminster for a report of a “male down”. Upon hearing the call New Westminster Police attended the scene as well. RONAL SHAKEEL RAJ & ALI ABHARI

HONG CHAO (Raymond) HUANG

A man associated with the notorious Big Circle Boys has been gunned down in front of his mansion in Vancouver's Shaughnessy.  Vancouver police say Hong Chao "Raymond" Huang was shot numerous times in an apparent targeted murder Saturday night.  A native of China, he is believed to have been in Canada for the past 10 years and has criminal ties to Toronto, the United States, Australia, Hong Kong and ChinaHuang's 10-year-old daughter called 911 to say her dad had been shot. WILLIAM RYAN BYGROVE

HIEP VINH DO

A gunman entered the Cafe Biennho, a Vietnamese restaurant at 4884 Victoria Drive, just after 9 pm and shot a 51-year-old Richmond resident, Hiep Vinh Do.   The victim was known to police and investigators released few details of the killing except to say that they believe it was a targeted shooting.  Vancouver homicide #17   (LM #51)  Oct. 31, 2007   Halloween hit

   

VICTIM NOT IDENTIFIED

On Saturday October 20th, 2007 shortly after 04:00 am a motor vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Tyson Road and South Sumas Road, in Chilliwack BC. As a result of the collision one male has succumb to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The vehicle responsible for this tragic accident was a stolen vehicle.   Jason A. CHRIS MOHAN  & EDWARD SCHELLENBERG

At approximately 16:31 PM Surrey RCMP were called by the Surrey Fire Department to what was originally thought to the scene of a gas leak at an apartment building in the 9800 block of East Whalley Ring Road.  HAZMAT members entered the condo building, and discovered as many as 6 deceased persons inside one of the units. DYLAN KRISHNA BECKER

IHIT investigators are looking into the death of a man that was located in a green Ford Explorer in the area of 94 Avenue and King George Highway.  Investigators have learned that the man was discovered in the vehicle at approximately 6:35 pm after British Columbia Ambulance Service received a 911 call to attend the area.  The male was transported to a local area hospital where he later died. Investigators have learned that the deceased man is 38-year-old Dylan Krishna Becker of Surrey. Police have learned that Becker was at the location where numerous gunshots were fired in the 11000 block of Scott Road in Surrey. It is the belief of investigators that Becker is known to the parties involved in the shooting and that he knew them as well. Police have not yet established if Becker was the intended target of the gunshots. DOUGLAS CHARLES HULL

The North Vancouver RCMP is requesting assistance of the public in locating a driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run collision. VICTIM NOT IDENTIFIED

Police arrested a 25-year-old man after finding a woman lying unconscious in a West End apartment suite. The 46-year-old woman died later in hospital.  Police arrived in the 1300-block Haro Street apartment minutes after receiving a 911 call from a resident saying that "a dispute or argument" appeared to be taking place in a suite in the building.   Sept. 30, 2007

   

ZACHARY JOHN DOUGLAS

JASON ‘JAY’ CHUN SING LOUIE

Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in a vehicle on Penticton Street, next to Vancouver Technical Secondary School Police received a 911 call at about 5:30 pm Monday from a resident who saw a man slumped at the wheel of a black Infinity SUV, which was still running as police arrived. TAMMY LYNN MURRAY

Burnaby RCMP responded to a 911 call from an apartment in the 4200 Block of Grange Street in Burnaby. Once inside the apartment, a body was located and the scene was immediately secured.  A male was taken into custody in regards to this incident.  Aaron John Hickey, 19, a resident of Burnaby, is now facing charges of Second Degree Murder. The female victim of this tragic event has been identified as Burnaby resident Tammy Lynn Murray, 38.   It appears that Aaron Hickey and Tammy Murray knew each other, and this incident is not believed to be a random act. LEMAR FAQIRZADA

On September 8th, 2007, at 0019 hrs, a male and female were crossing a marked crosswalk located approximately 35 metres south of the intersection of 152nd Street and 96 Avenue in Surrey. RYAN DARRYL JOAQUIN

NICOLE PARISIEN

Vancouver police are investigating the murder of a woman at 1450 Chestnut in Kitsilano.  Police said they were called to the apartment building at 3:46 am to a report of a break and enter.  They discovered the body of a woman in a parking lot on the building's north side.  Police said they now believe the woman was murdered. A 25 year old Vancouver man, Andrew William Evans was arrested for the crime and is facing a charge of second-degree murder.  After the crime was committed, Evans fled to Calgary but later turned himself into Calgary Police on August 28th  Andrew William Evans was not known to police prior to this investigation.  He did not know Nicole Parisien prior to Monday, August 27th.  Suite #517 was being used as a massage parlour.   Vancouver homicide #14   (LM #34)   Aug 27, 2007   Slain woman was working in massage parlour    Man arrested in Kits death   Slaying suspect held   Police investigate woman's murder in Kitsilano    Body discovered near Burrard Street Bridge

   

MARCEL OUELLETTE

A year ago on August 13, 2006, a 63 year old man was seriously assaulted on Carrall and Hastings at 1:30 am.  Police were called to the scene and the man was taken to the hospital.  The man has been identified as Marcel Ouellette.   He died of his injuries on August 21, 2007.  Vancouver homicide #13   (LM #33)   Man succumbs to year old assault injuries

   

VICTIM NOT IDENTIFIED

A man beaten into a coma outside a downtown Vancouver hospital has died.  Police say the 43-year-old man was a patient at St. Paul's Hospital when he was beaten by four assailants.  The men attacked him between on July 6 as he stood in the ambulance parking area near the intersection of Comox and Thurlow streets. They were described as white, ranging 5’5” to 6’ in height, and 25 to 30 years old.  The man kicking the victim had a stocky build, with a “belly” and had dark brown hair and a dark brown goatee.  He was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.  Vancouver homicide #12   (LM #32)   Aug. 20, 2007   Beating victim dies

   

DYLAN THOMAS BAYNTUN

On August 11, 2007 at approximately 6:15 PM Coquitlam RCMP received a 911 call regarding an altercation in the 2300 block of Atkins Avenue on Port Coquitlam.  Upon arrival police were met by two males that had been stabbed and one male suspect.  The suspect was arrested at scene and the two victims were transported to a local area hospital.  After being taken to local area hospital 24-year-old Dylan Thomas Bayntun of Coquitlam died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the stabbing.   A 30-year-old Burnaby man was treated for non life threatening injuries at a local area hospital and released from hospital.   A 46-year-old Port Coquitlam man has been remanded in custody.   RCMP File #IHIT 2007-LM-3508   (LM #31) Aug. 11, 2007    'Pandemonium' in PoCo as fatal fight summons cops    One dead, another injured in stabbing

   

VICTIM NOT IDENTIFIED

A severely beaten 52-year-old woman died in hospital on Aug. 11, 2007.   On June 12, police responded to a 911 call to the 300 block of Jackson Street in the Downtown Eastside and found the woman unconscious in her home.  She never regained consciousness.  Robert Michael Bennight, a 55-year-old Vancouver man, was charged with aggravated assault at the time after being arrested shortly after in the vicinity.  Police File #07-112956  Vancouver homicide #11   (LM #30)   Aug. 11, 2007

   

ZACHARY FERLAND and VICTIM NOT IDENTIFIED

Two men, ages 19 and 26, were dead. DARRYL JIM WEISMILLER

Police are investigating Surrey's fifth murder after a body was found in a Bridgeview residence last weekend.  Darryl Jim Weismiller, 27, was found dead in his home hear 115A Avenue and 127A Street on Saturday.  On Monday July 16, 2007 an autopsy was conducted.  Through the autopsy, a determination was made that the death was consistent with a homicide.   Jason Robert Weismiller was arrested  and has been charged with the second-degree murder of his identical twin brother Darryl James Weismille.   RCMP File #IHIT 2007-LM-34098    (LM #27)   July 14, 2007   Police probe death

   

SHERYL LYNN KOROLL

A Langley sex-trade worker Sheryl Lynn Koroll, 50, body was found at a concrete plant located eight blocks away from where she worked in Langley City.  Her body was discovered shortly before 6 am on Saturday by an employee of the concrete plant. SHEMINA HIRJI CHEEMA

WAYNE LESLEY LUTZ

The body of Wayne Lesley Lutz, 39, of Surrey was discovered about in a home in the 13400-block 88th Avenue.   On Aug. 15, 2007, Trevor David Bell, 32, of Abbotsford was charged with second-degree murder.  File #IHIT 2007-LM-33599   (LM #25)   June 26, 2007

   

VICTIM NOT IDENTIFIED

A 51 year old man died June 12th after he was severely assaulted in Pigeon Park.  Approximately 90 minutes later, police were called to an altercation in the 400 block of West Pender.  One of the men involved matched the description of the suspect in the Pigeon Park homicide.  The 33 year old man was arrested and charges are pending.  Vancouver homicide #8    (LM #24)   June 12, 2007

   

ALEXANDER HEIBEIN

Alexander Heibein, 41, of Mission was riding his motorcycle near 148 street and Hwy 10 when a mini van making a left hand turn onto 148 street collided with the bike.  Heibein was thrown from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.   The driver and passengers got out of the mini-van and ran away.  Police dogs tracked the suspects for several kilometres, but don’t locate them.   File #Surrey 2007-64599   (LM #23)     June 2, 2007

The body of a 46 year old Burnaby man was found in a parking lot of a strip mall in the 2800 block of Grandview Hwy. at 1:30 am passers-by.   The cause of death was not apparent, but investigation by both Homicide and Collision investigators has now revealed it was a homicide.  A witness has come forward who told police he saw two men in a physical struggle, one of which fell to the ground and may have hit his head.  A 47 year old man was arrested.  Vancouver homicide #7  (LM #22)   June 1, 2007

Tsawwassen resident William Chan, 45, was found dead, slumped in the driver's seat of a grey Honda Odyssey van parked in the north lane of the 500 block of W.10th Ave. on May 31.   Investigators have confirmed he was targeted and shot.   Vancouver homicide #6    (LM #21)   May 31, 2007 

   

RUBY CHIONG & ROBERT CALVEZ

CHRIS POEUNG

A 13-year-old boy is dead and a 14-year-old boy faces manslaughter charges after a stabbing incident Saturday evening in a parking lot across from Science World.  Const. Tim Fanning.said the fight took place in a lot on the southwest corner of Main Street and Terminal Avenue. On Monday at approximately 6:25 am, Burnaby RCMP were called to a serious collision at Canada Way and Wayburn Drive in Burnaby. This crash involved two vehicles, one being a red Corvette and the other a black Mustang. KYLE MARUD

On April 16, 2007 at approximately 5:00 am the Chilliwack office of the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Police Service was called to investigate an incident at 44431 Yale Road in Chilliwack.  Drew Rusell Wagar was discovered deceased at the scene.  Charged with second degree murder is 19-year-old Mitchell Ryan Brisson of Chilliwack. NGA TRAN

On April 9, 2007 RCMP Surrey attended a residence in the area of 61st Ave & 128th St shortly before 8:00 pm. in response to a 911 call.  The lone victim, Nga Duc Tran, 44, was located by investigators unresponsive within the home.  Also in the residence was the victims two year old child and the victims common-law husband. With evidence of an altercation having occurred, the male was arrested & taken in to police custody. SAM EVES
